I don't have much playing time on this guitar - because by now, I've learned to keep my hands off of my newest pieces. But, what time I have spent on it was very enjoyable.
The mahogany neck sets it apart from most of my guitars, which mostly have maple/walnut necks. It adds a neat nasal quality to the tone, and helps bring out the semi-hollow tone.
Most of my Mahogany necks are on the thick side, but this one is not. I'd say it's right between thick and thin.
When I first test out a guitar, I run through everything I've got. If the guitar gives me any trouble playing my riffs, I take it back to the bench and solve whatever it might be.
This guitar gave me no trouble, so back in the box it went, and that's where she sits, ready to go.
